I can confirm Portland is completely smoked out with the air quality thing off the charts at 500+. Not sure what that means but they 500 is the MAX the chart normally goes to. We shut down our indoor arcade for the weekend it is so bad out.

I heard Portland was the worst air for any city in the world today. I passed through an area in LA that was supposedly at 300 today and it sucked. My eyes were starting to get irritated.
Is air quality worse in the mornings? Like does the morning dew bring the smoke down or something? I feel like the air here is always much worse in the mornings.
It was pretty bad yesterday but much better today.
Not sure what I would do if the air quality gets super bad around here. Itās supposed to be 158 Sunday which is " unhealthy " With the fire I had family somewhat near by where I could quarantine moms at. But pretty much everyone I know is badly effected by these fires and the air quality.
I got an air purifier in here room but still in the mornings it can get tough for her. Obv windows closed.
My heart goes out to people in a similar situation to mine in places where the smoke is super bad. I couldnāt imagine having a 500+ AQI level.

Maybe sometimes? One of the forecasts for the Seattle area in the past few days said something about morning having calmer winds in the upper atmosphere, which allows the smoke to sift down to lower levels. Not sure how common or widespread that is though.

Looks like a heavy fog that with just over one hundred yards of visability. Breathing is like standing next to a campfire with the smoke drifting just off to your side. Heavy smell of burning wood and who knows what else, mild eye and throat irritation. Occasional flakes of ash get in your eyes while outside. Inside my work, which is essentially a big warehouse, there is a haze of smoke like bars back in the days when smoking was popular. Smoke got in without having doors, windows open.
My brother lives just outside Portland. Says air quality is lowest rating possible right now which is called hazardous.
Apparently Qanon dopes are blaming BLM for the fires. What they dont realize isā¦

Air quality very bad this morning. My house is roughly between the area where itās in the 200 range and the area where itās in the 300-500 range. Smell of smoke inside my house.
You guys didnāt shut the warehouse down during that shit? A bunch of people doing physical labor during that seemsā¦ stupid? And a liability if people got sick.
Air quality only about 200 for me, down from about 250 yesterday, but it tends to be better in the morning and worse in the afternoon.
Itās gonna be 72 AQI where Iām golfing today. Not overly concerned, but I almost fainted last week from the heat so Iām not exactly in the best shape. A doctor is golfing with us though so that makes me feel a little better.
Thatās 2020 for ya - last year at this time my biggest concern was the amount of daylight left to golf in. This year Iām stuck inside my house for days and days at a time and then I have to check air quality ratings before I go golf in a fucking mask because of the other apocalypse.

It is actually an arcade, just in a big warehouse. Employees were given the option to go home. There are only three of us that work on the games with limited physical labor. I figure it is no worse than sitting in my apartment, so I worked.
If I hear this motherfucker say one motherfucking thing about us cleaning our motherfucking floors Iām going to have an aneurysm.
