Everyone thinks this about their candidate, so this isn’t really worth anything coming from me. But, only Bernie can disrupt that map. People hate the Democrats. Impeachment is going to hurt the Democrats in the presidential election anyway.

They aren’t mired in this shady-ass Hunter Biden scandal that’s been blaring on Fox News 24/7 and also they aren’t visibly losing their marbles from old age.
They aren’t senile and as a result talk better. Younger versions (perhaps less gaffe prone) of the same candidate IMO.

It’s just as likely (if not more likely) people won’t vote for a woman or a gay man and those same people would in fact vote for Biden.
Point is that it’s all speculation and the polling seems to be relatively consistently saying none of the Dems are across the board significantly better than each other vs. Trump.
Biden has the best shot of all of the E Democrats because, as with Trump, a fair number of the working class mistakenly believes that he’s on their side.
People forget how massively unpopular Trump is. He almost lost to Hillary, who was the WOAT candidate. I mean, even she might have won without the last-minute EMAILZZZZ blowup. And he’s not any more popular now than he was in 2016.
All you have to do is not be as unelectable as Hillary. Klob can get there. Bloomberg can get there, no sweat. A sack of potatoes would beat Trump. I don’t know about Biden. It’s gonna be close with Biden.

This is probably accurate. We really need a candidate that can do way way more than win. Realistically the bar is a Reagan style landslide. Anything less and the Senate probably keeps the filibuster and then it’s gg anyway.

He’s polling close to even or ahead of literally all the Dems AND he has a huge built in edge in the Electoral College. His approval rating is trending up.

Yeah just pretend that the turnout numbers from the last few actual elections never happened in favor of cherry picking polls that scare you with huge margins of error. That sounds like a great recipe for being emotionally healthy.
Yep, agree. I’m thinking Biden would have a better chance in the general than basically anyone but Bernie. In fact I’m starting to think that the only people who can beat Trump are Bernie or Biden, now that Warren and Pete have nuked their campaigns (stick_in_bike.jpg). And I don’t think Biden’s odds are great, either. Man, I’m really feeling WAAF today.

I suppose they’ll just have to console themselves with control of the Senate, a majority of state legislatures and governorships and a total takeover of the judiciary that will last for decades.
