This is literally dismissing her concerns. You can say you think her priorities are fucked up but thereâs no way to make the second claim unless youâre implicitly arguing that her concerns have no value whatsoever.

So if I got this right, the debate between the dems (helping to pick whatever candidate is going to somehow, god willing, beat Trump) is now cancelled because a union in California is striking at a University and theyâre going to honor the picket line. Instead of maybe moving the debate somewhere else so we can try and make an informed choice about what I think is the biggest political decision Iâve made in my life. In one of the few states where the dems are in NO danger of losing.
Yep, weâre gonna lose. But weâre gonna feel GOOD about it.

All I got was this volunteer tweeted about Bloomberg heads having their own dance. Then the Bloomberg campaign sub tweets something like, to be clear, you donât work for our campaign and donât have a dance. Then this guy Nick responds, youâre firing me? Then the social media coordinator resigns and all hell breaks loose. OVER WHAT EXACTLY? What did this guy Nick do that was so wrong?
Then Sanders retracts his endorsement of Cenk yesterday, which was real disappointing. Donât these candidates have ANYONE competent on staff to manage their campaigns and messaging? It wouldnât have taken much research at all to find out this was already well known and publicized. This shouldnât have caught anyone off guard. Either vet someone before offering your endorsement and discuss it first, or stick by it. Personally, I donât think what Cenk did was a big deal, especially since he long ago admitted it, and profusely apologized for his faulty views when he was younger.
Both these campaigns shot themselves in the foot yesterday. I love Sanders, but think heâs managed like shit and their messaging sucks. How do I get a high level job on his staff? I guarantee I could do a much better job than whoever is in charge now

If that was true you could say whenever you make a choice about one thing over another you are dismissing the thing you didnât choose. If thatâs how you use the expression, ok I guess but thatâs not how I understand the phrase to be used.

With all the voter purges, trumps claim yesterday of 25 million evangelicals not registered to vote that they are registering and him saying many Dems are voting republican now it looks like they are trying to set it up for him to win the election by 15+ million votes and claim itâs legit. Itâs already going to be a tough election but the closer we get the more worried Iâm getting about the outcome

Pete strikes me, an outsider, as the type of candidate whoâs a complete washout ie has no interesting good ideas of his own and will probably fail to do anything useful at all in office, other than keep Trump out (which is enough for now).
