As someone who once read 3-4 newspapers a day, I wonder where I get my local news from. I don’t watch the local news on tv ( never really did) don’t even listen to the radio to get little blurbs.
I just don’t take in local news except by accident, and I think this is bad.
That’s actually true. Fox called it with a whole lot left to be counted, the analyst basically said it was four-sigma certain when he got pushback from the politicos, and Biden ended up winning by a razor thin margin.
If the final result was that close, it’s highy unlikely that their certainty early on was mathematically justified.

Yeah the call was clearly full of shit. It’s likely they didn’t understand the difference between early and late mail ballots, as Arizona counts its mail ballots more or less in the order they were received (which I don’t think is the case in other states, not sure about that), and there was a heavy bias towards returning ballots early among Democratic voters.
That Fox error was really bad, we knew at the time it was bad and why.
It was in our favor for once.
