Maple flavored sausage is a thing.
Yeah, I know. I can’t stand it.

Madness
I think most of the bad reputation the UK has for food culture comes from the abomination that is a traditional British breakfast!
I mean sure, have the toast separate but then you have to pour the beans all over the potato scone, black pudding & the 2 square sausages.
Thanks for making my point!
I’m the same way. I keep everything separate on my plate. I like pickles on their own but I absolutely hate it when they stick a pickle next to my fries. It contaminates the fries with the pickle juice. Just nasty. Don’t even get me started on those little cole slaw cups that contaminate my burger or whatever.
One of the very few things I still miss as a British exile is being able to walk into a greasy spoon and get a massive breakfast and cup of tea. (You certainly need to manage the beans, but a ramekin is madness.)
Haha I do that too. I take the pickle off the plate and put it on the table.
It’s chips for me, need them crisp with only salt on them in a separate bowl because EVERYTHING contaminates them.
Then I like to dip them in a sauce because that’s a MUST.

I love this bizzare left turn in the thread, where vegas trip reports turn into 12 year olds debating what foods can touch on the plate.
Feeling the urge to add another day to my Vegas trip. I might look into going Wednesday to Sunday instead of Thursday. That does reduce my gambling per day budget down though.
Is Absinthe worth seeing while there? Seems like something Mrs. Tilted would like.
Southwest had cheaper flights on Wednesday and I had just enough points to use them. That definitely felt like a sign from the Gods to add another day. Cosmo only charged me $200 for an extra night. No brainer.
We really enjoyed Absinthe!
Nice! We’ll give it a go then. It looks like they also have a show called Opium at the Cosmo, but it’s not back yet. I would assume they restart it prior to our trip in June but who knows. Either show seems fun.
Absinthe was both the best show I’ve ever seen and the most uncomfortable seating I’ve ever experienced. Paradoxical. Prepare to get rammed and jammed into those around you.
