This song slaps harder than OmniMan.
Some of the blasphemy about Bruce going on in the other thread reminded me of my favorite song he composed.

I’ve been watching a lot of baseball on MLB.TV and had to track down this song (Hot Day’s Done) that plays in snippets during non-commercial breaks. I still can’t find much on the artists outside of Universal albums.
I’m a sucker for breathy vocals and folksy instrumentation in a major key.
Anyone have a YouTube Music subscription? Worth it?
I do. I’ve had It for many many years now going back to when it was Google play music. I would probably have branched out but I’ve had it for so long I still get YouTube premium for free, so there’s no chance in hell I’m giving that up for some other marginally better music streaming service.
I assume they are all relatively similar though, personalized playlists, access to all the major music libraries, podcasts, etc. I’ve used Spotify and Pandora free service years ago and they seemed fine. If I had to guess, Spotify is probably a better pay product by some margin but would bet they are not worlds apart. It’s also not a service I care enough about to be real picky so ymmv.
Thanks. I’m doing a free trial of Apple Music but find I barely use it. OTOH, I use YouTube all the time on my computer with an ad blocker, but seldom on my iphone because of all the ads. So was thinking that YT Premium bundled with Apple Music might be a good way to go.
I’ve taken a few free trials of YT premium and its biggest benefit is that when you’re using a phone it doesn’t stop playing music when you minimize the browser. I currently use Apple Music as my subscription based thing, which works fine and it has most songs you might want to hear and a bunch of radio stations that may or may not be tailored to what it thinks your tastes are. I still just generally use my own playlists though because I’m old.
The quintessential Japanese City Pop classic.
And a mix of similar music if you like that one:
Just saw the the GOAT music video group OK Go has released two new music videos in the past few months
They are still in a league of their own when it comes to creating music videos
Michael Tait was one of the singers for DC Talk. Loved so much of their music. Ugh.
Fwiw Tait is a Trump supporter.
In which Tait confesses that the accusations are true. He disputes only minor details.
Idk why but I have been obsessed with this song lately. It’s such an amazing album and live performance by Freddy.
From wiki:
In 2011, a team of scientific researchers concluded that “We Are the Champions” was the catchiest song in the history of pop music, despite its not reaching #1 in the charts in any major market. Dr. Daniel Mullensiefen said of the study: “Every musical hit is reliant on maths, science, engineering and technology; from the physics and frequencies of sound that determine pitch and harmony, to the hi-tech digital processors and synthesisers which can add effects to make a song catchier. We’ve discovered that there’s a science behind the sing-along and a special combination of neuroscience, math and cognitive psychology that can produce the elusive elixir of the perfect sing-along song.”
I didn’t know Jane’s Addiction had problems and now they’re suing each other?
