Red Hot Chili Peppers newest single “Black Summer”.
They got Frusciante back. So, I was naively expecting Blood Sugar Sex Magik and was massively disappointed.
The lyrics make little sense and Anthony’s enunciation is really weird. The way he pronounces R’s in this song is really strange.
The song overall just lacks the energy of their past releases. Feel like a generic pop rock single rather that would be released more as a joke. I’m not big on evaluating music videos but this one was total shit.
Anthony rocking TRT and Joe Exotic’s hair at 60.

I always enjoy thinking about how amazing it must have been living in Scotland in the late 80’s/early 90’s and hearing any of those raw, early works that are now part of beat folklore.
