not sure how many illegal immigrants are actually a part of armed gangs, but if there are any I doubt ICE has the courage to even attempt to go after them.

I think that was just a regular civilian drone, the ones ICE/DHS are using are the full military-style.
But we still don’t know if those sniper-looking guys were there to (potentially) shoot us or protect us.
Drones go from hand held things to the size of fighter planes. Dunno why the police wouldn’t just be using small ones to observe the crowd.
I encourage everyone who can to go out tomorrow. But also be careful.
I expect they will be out and visible here tomorrow. I don’t think they’ll do anything more stupid than usual. The local groups and their leaders are well known. Otoh the locations are different and further away than usual, less familiar to me, and I have to walk a long way alone so I’m a little more anxious than normal.

the coverage of the cops under the bridge getting rocks thrown on them is hysterical. they have full riot gear and helmets and tear gas and horses. if youre gonna make a big tough guy stand and have to retreat under the bridge like its ROTJ vs the ewoks, it just makes you look stupid, but no one was in true danger on their side. theyre just mad they lost to an unruly mob. the spin on this has been crazy

I didn’t get the memo for last night.
Just after 7 p.m., the protesters headed north on State Street, with the only incident being a couple of people jumping onto a Tesla Cybertruck and punctured one of its tires. Reporters also saw a fight break out among a crowd on the corner of State Street and 400 South around 9 p.m.
