He’ll leave a monster truck somewhere around the house then go looking for it saying “Greeney Monster Truck, where are you?” and “hmm, where could he be?” After typing that last sentence, I just heard him exclaim from the other room “mommy, mommy cars!” Bro is automobile-pilled it is ridiculous. I blame myself for watching those Cars movies. Fuck you Tow Mater.

My son was obsessed with cars when he was around that age. He’d watch Cars every day while arranging all his Hot Wheels on the coffee table. Not “playing” with them, but arranging, like he was a valet parker or something. Guess that was a sign that he was on the spectrum.
His favorite pastime while in the back seat of our car was exclaiming “Cool car!” every time he saw a…cool car.
Now, as a 16-year-old, he wants to be a metal drummer.

This line of criticism is some kind of bullshit that there probably is a name for because, for one thing, “why not both” is just a transparently obvious answer, but material aid is probably the best thing and it’s also probably the most illegal and thus dangerous thing you can do.

Like, it’s so dangerous that he’s afraid to even just say people should get married. No way he’s brave enough to advocate things like leaving water for people, helping people get social security numbers and employment, helping undocumented people get housing, etc.
Beyond that, is there any evidence that marrying an undocumented immigrant currently provides any additional protections? Frankly, I would be worried about that being a functional honeypot for ICE right now without doing my homework first.

My brother’s step-son is a punk-metal drummer and he’s in like 5 bands. I think drummers are in demand.
The regime’s plan is crystallizing for me…they’re going to deport all of the immigrants and get AI to do all of the cushy office work. The displaced office workers will have no choice but to pick crops.

In what way? I was giving $100/wk to a group providing material aid to ICE detainees in Alabama for a few years during 45 until I lost my job due to my back giving out in late 2019
I didn’t really think about it being illegal or dangerous. Like we were paying for stuff like bail, phone calls, food…
A lot of direct aid that people need (like help with employment and housing) is very clearly illegal. Giving money to some group is probably not very dangerous, especially if it’s just legal aid, but if that group is doing something illegal (like giving water to people who are dying in the desert), you could be contributing to that crime.

Dunno, but I’m sure it would be different if they thought you were doing it to specifically to help undocumented people rather than just hire people. If they knew anyway.
