I wasn’t sure who to be annoyed at for the mixup. Johnny for being such a dillbrain or micro for being a hardass in a game that’s meant to be a laugh. Definitely mad at micro tho, if we lose due to this I’ll have him firmly in my sights!

Two phrases you’ll never need to say to Mrs Truant :hugs:

At least she knew what she was getting into

hey is this thing on?

I think I have a shot at a walrus badge here so get to it

It’s the intermission.

I think it’s Risky’s turn

@RiskyFlush ?

Deep in the heart of Texas, a Walrus dug until they struck a walrus.

6: The one good scene in an otherwise terrible movie

These were hard to score because afaict these are almost to a one good movies??? So we will start with movies that have the worst ratio of quality of time:quality of suggested scene. If the movie is great or the scene is not good, uh-oh.

LOTR Two Towers: Arwen’s fate

A fail on both counts. This movie is amazing, and this scene is not that good.

I am Legend-There is no God

This was a tough one because this movie is so so so bad, and I guess this scene is okay compared to the rest, but the awesome scene in this otherwise awful movie is not the one you selected. ahem

Ghost-Unchained Melody

What is happening here? Ghost is a great movie. That has a whole bunch of problems…as discussed in this excellent episode of Still Processing. So how do we score this? Worst good scene in a good movie? Saved by the ratio!

Tony Jaa-The Protector

This is indeed an excellent scene, so you get 4 points just because I haven’t seen the movie and so will take your word for it that the rest of the movie isn’t good.

WALRUS
6: Phantom Menace-Duel of the Fates

And here we have our Walrus. This really is an amazing scene in an awful movie. The trailer made us think the whole movie would be great. Alas!

I’d just like to thank Jar Jar and all the Gungans. Without them this wouldn’t be possible.

No master submission?

Do people think Two Towers is bad? I remember it being great but been a while. First one was on the boring side.

Where are my elephants?!

I have yet to receive PMs from him. He did not respond to my inquiries.

Odd.

Ok, ready for the 7th and penultimate reveal?

All good entries, nothing to be ashamed of, even last place with 1 pt for @King_of_NY with this scene from Inglorious Basterds.

QT would be very happy for the sheer number of nominations across categories here. I like this scene and this movie, but it’s not really what fires my artistic scene neuron.

2pts for Beetlejuice with this one from The Aviator. I like the camera shots and the music and it’s pretty seamless. Doesn’t thrill me exactly though and competition is strong.

3pts for cassette with this long take from Children of Men
Here’s where judging gets hard. Very good scene in a movie I really liked.

This scene would have had a shot at Walrus…

The hardest decision here was between 2nd and 3d place. I like this scene better than the 2nd place scene, but it’s a little less on category imo.

DodgerIrish with 4pts for this scene from No Country for Old Men
