Holy shit this is a powerful song. Just absolutely exactly what rap should be. This moved up the list because I couldnât stop thinking about it. The melody, the lyrics, the message, everything is just a home run. This song finally made me understand why Killer Mike is so influential. Also, you really benefitted from the random chance that I had just rewatched Ray, and I couldnât help but compare this gorgeous combination of gospel and rap with Ray Charlesâ âblasphemousâ combination of Gospel with R&B back in the day. I havenât really read much about Killer Mike, but knowing he is from Atlanta, I canât help but think Ray Charles was an influence. Fucking hell, great job.

i did. the first song that came to mind is what i sent. i knew itâs not âspecialâ enough (although i like it), so i switched to this. then i switched to the RTJ song i ended up sending seties and decided to âalways go with your first choiceâ.
itâs not my fav killer mike song or close to it tho.
Seriously yâall, amazing job. This was hands down the highest-quality category Iâve ever had to judge. Every song was a winner in my book, and I have added literally every one to my playlist. Though I might have to skip The Loophole if anyone civilized is in the car with me
