Super excited for Cat 3. Feel like I made a near perfect choice
“Baby’s on Fire” is the bomb. If I’d known that would be a #2-placing song I could’ve calibrated my answer better.
I really have no idea how any of my other songs will be received, now.
I honestly have no idea. I like the song I submitted and I think I gave it a good writeup, but I could very easily see it being dismissed in last.
Cat 4 I think I have an instrumental Pauwl might like, although it’s not really in line with the instrumental stuff he’s tended to like. But I really like it and wanted to share it regardless.
Cat 5… I picked a great song that is popular among a certain set, so we’ll just have to see.

I like my song choice for 3 in terms of category fit but no clue how it will be received. I also enjoyed how I was able to use three songs I listen to regularly and 2 i listen to occasionally for this walrus.

Review
This has a good eerie feel. I love when the lamenting strings kick in mid way. It sounds pleasant but at the same time sort of off and creepy. Slightly eastern sounds. You could say it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable yet I like it.

The next category is where I took a risk (based on Pauwl’s choices that I’ve seen in other walrii and this one so far). I expect I’ll be last.
Given he’s docking people points for familiarity I can almost guarantee I’m nodiuming.
Oh I highly doubt he’s heard my entry before, it’s a deep cut off an album that came out only a couple of years ago by an artist that is probably outside the wheelhouse of pretty much everyone that’s played or hosted a walrus, I think.
But it was still a risk…lol
Haven’t listened to the song yet but reading the description made me think about an entire genre that I could have submitted for this or category 4.
I made an awful choice.
But I don’t play walrus. I pick what best fits the category in my mind.
Next round should be interesting. It’s my fav of my picks.
