I’m back on DOTA and I hate myself for it.
Lmao I have so many fucking games on steam and Xbox game pass to play and I pour 3-4 hours a day into League of legends instead
I have like 50-60 from Steam summer sales. Bought a game last night that has been in development for a few years and jus thit beta finally so I could hopefully get an mmo pvp fix. LOL me.
I stopped subscribing to PS Plus because I wasn’t using it anymore, then resubscribed for Fall Guys, which i played exactly once. I’ve probably played 30 hrs of Eternal and Slay the Spire since that purchase though. Also just got the digital version of the board game Root on Steam; it’s still in early access but it’s already well polished. If anyone is into digital board games I’d recommend it from the small sample I’ve played so far.
CROSSSSSCOODDDDEEEEEE
Fiiiiiine. I’m enjoying Undermine if you like Binding of Issac type roguelikes
Slay the spire is on game pass, if you haven’t played it
I finished Witcher 3, which might be my favorite game ever, and Far Cry 5 is pretty bad in comparison. It even looks like it’s trying to copy parts of Witcher 3, but fails.
surviving mars is an ok colony management sim. i liked planetbase better, personally, and quit this one after 11 hours
two point hospital is a fun and addictive hospital management sim. i think it’s well executed. i like that there are cartoony afflictions instead of real ones. i saw a similar game in the store with real diseases and i feel like that one would bum me out, but two point hospital made the right decision. the animations are funny. i don’t feel bad when they die. a custodian vacuums their ghosts up
Witcher 3 is so great. I mean, the gameplay is terrible, but it’s still so amazing.
I’ll probably play at least half the game because I’m drawn to the “kill white trash militia with no repercussions” angle
Horizon 4 is a great arcade racer if you want to play something that’s very laid back
Yeah the key is finding cards that work well together - the block/body slam combo is one of my favorites with the ironclad. It probably took me a dozen tries with ironclad before I completed a run, they’ve got the worst card options IMO. I think my favorite character is the 3rd one - the little robot guy with orbs.
What do you mean the gameplay is terrible? I felt like I learned the combat techniques pretty quickly. There was some stuff I just ignored, like I never played gwent and I never used the crossbow (except underwater) but I liked most of it.
I mean the fighting mechanics got old pretty quickly, the crafting/inventory system was a hot mess.
I can’t believe you didn’t try gwent at all. It was so addictive they made full fledged online CCG out of it!
I think most of my profanity directed towards the game was elicited by the 2 or 3 times the game makes you play gwent. I’m here to slay monsters and lay with sorceresses with chunky, pixelated buttocks.
wow i didn’t know this
“Flight Simulator,” released this month for PC, streams the entire planet Earth in real-time, feeding in weather data from Swiss-based meteorological service Meteoblue and bolstered by the power of Microsoft’s Azure AI platform.
Did anybody get footage of hurricane Laura coming in?
Tried out the “bush trip” mode on flight sim, and it’s very cool. They’re long (7-9 hours) flight paths through cool scenic areas in prop planes, but they’re broken into a bunch of 20-40 minute legs. The cool part is you navigate by instruments and a pre-planned navlog that gives you directions by landmarks. My main issue with games like this is that I need some structure and goals set for me, and this scratches that itch. Currently flying down the coast in Croatia in a Cessna. Very chill.
