what if you remove the image tag, does anything happen?
something just got fixed, I don’t know if you changed anything but it’s pulling the correct image now
No, I went grocery shopping. Maybe that did the trick?
A bot for the Unstuck account seems a great idea. It’ll encourage those who avoid twitter to offer feedback on style / volume / content of tweets.
Is this the official Twitter account or are we still working it out?
Random thought:
Links to long threads should be to a more recent comment. For example, a new visitor getting linked to the top of the debates thread probably isn’t going to bother scrolling down to find something current and relevant.
Link format is:
Domain | t | Doesn’t matter | Thread ID | Comment ID |
---|---|---|---|---|
https://unstuckpolitics.com |
/t | /Almost-anything-can-be-here | / # | / # |
This link:
https://unstuckpolitics.com/t/lol-doesnt-matter/61/1272
Does this:
First to sign up at Exiled
First to follow the Unstuck twitter acct
First in our hearts
It’s working.
Sorry, haven’t been around much and missed this. This is fine with me.
It doesn’t relate to Twitter at all, but I was reminded of it when I made that post so I went all non sequitur and free associated. The thread was always in the Politics section, but it was on Exiled. I copied it here from there because I thought it was a good example of what we could be doing to expand our content and having something besides arguing with nunnehi to attract new users.
Do you know what caused that spike in impressions?
Probably debates
That’s my guess, larger audience during debates
Was not sure where to ask but i figured here. Now that there is no 2p2 for me and since i like to argue and bang my head on walls to get the angst out ive been thinking about opening a twitter account. What are the rules there? I see people swear and all kinds of other things but ive also seen people complaining about getting slapped on the wrist for what seem minor insults. I tend to piss off conservatives so i figure id get posts reported a lot…
I know read the posting guidelines social network noob. Any posting advice before i take the dive?

Get a catchy/quirky handle and try not to post personalised materials.
Imagine if chez ran Twitter, that’s basically what the rules are like.
