Ahh, I thought I found a favorite in my library, but it’s by 20th Century Steel Band.

I was a pretty huge fan of Afterglow and songs from an american movie 1 and 2.
Their concerts are a lot of fun
I’m sure I’m in the minority of people who think A Perfect Circle is better than Tool, but this song is awesome
Afterglow felt really sterile to me, like all the raw feeling and self-loathing of Sparkle and Fade had been sanded down and polished, and all the subtext driving the music was made really obvious text. I mean, I guess I did like it at the time, when I was still in high school, but I grew to find it just really lacking in depth compared to the previous record.
You can tell that fatherhood changed him in certain ways. It seemed to make him less bitter, but more questioning. There are some great songs from that album. The title track is fun, Sunflowers is secretly devastating song emotionally. It’s a good album
