We can do daily and weekly scheduled tourneys and have regular ring games as well. It’s basically design your own mini poker site. Just a matter of Watevs/me/whoever setting stuff up and managing it. We also should be able to manage doing this for real money if we want so long as the stakes stay in the friendly range.

i’d play a once a week tourney or something like that. if y’all wanted to learn other games i could probably swing some sort of learning chat or something? idk. i stream poker from time to time but i’m kinda bored with it

Can confirm, home games don’t work on mobile
Not being able to top up enough free chips for a ring or tourney buyin is a big downside to PS.

I just scheduled a NLHE tournament for 3:00 PM EDT with a 20k buy-in on Stars.
See this post for instructions on joining the .net play money site. It’s different than the regular Stars site. For now new members to the club need to be approved by @Watevs.
If you already went busto on your play money (like me) you’ll need to top up twice to get enough for the buy-in. You can only reload once every 4 hours, so plan accordingly.
Yeah, that’s definitely intentional. They want people to buy their play chip packs.
I just set up a PS play money account. Now it says that due to technical issues, all play money poker is suspended and they hope to have normal service on Monday, March 23.

I think the play money action / home games are available through the pokerstars .net client, not the pokerstars .com client.
Yeah thanks but that site redirects me to pokerstars.uk which then tells me my account can only be used on pokerstars.com and I guess if I create a new account on pokerstars.uk I’m segregated (quarantined?) from you guys?
I’ll wait and see what other Eurodonks come up against.
(UK) My regular pub game is moving to a PStars Home Game. It’s a really good game and it’s not going to be the same but at least they’ll be some sort of contact with everyone.

When I go to pokerstars .net it redirects me to pokerstars .bet and wants me to download the client. Can another American confirm this is expected and I’m not being pwned by Chinese hackers?
