ok i figured it out. you can’t log on to stars using an old name, i’ve had the same account forever. made a new account on pokerstars.net and its money
I made a home game . the invitation code is ‘unstuckpolitics’ . try it out
i dont really want to manage it, i’ll hand over the reins to whoever

I got a confirmation email and I think I’m set. Probably some operator error I need to work through.
i think it does take a second maybe, been playing around with options and some of them give a message like “please wait a little for the server to process” or some such. should be good
I restarted the client and now I’m good. Gonna poke around a bit and kick the tires.
