Yeah, my other league doesn’t have bids, so it’s entirely determined by that priority.
I’ve never played with this bid system for Waivers either and decided to just do bids of 0 because it was hard to understand how much I need to conserve that money. I am guessing that at some point during the season there will be a free agent worth dumping the majority of money on in a single move.
Even if Winston gets hurt, I don’t see them turning to Hill. They tried that last year and don’t think they will again. If they saw Hill as the back-up not sure why they would have signed Dalton (especially for $3 million guaranteed).
Thought about Hill, also confused about the bid system. Still not all that interested.
It’s a blind auction. You have 100 fictional dollars to spend on waivers across the year. You bid what you think will be the highest bid. If you win, you get the player for your bid. If you lose, you lose nothing.
In a tie, the team that performed worse the previous week gets priority.
