Looks like Russia is mounting a renewed assault on Hostomel Airport.
Given that Deutche Bank literally made a special deposit window for drug cartels, I’m not optimistic.

1 is a hard sell for me as it could seriously broaden the conflict, but everything else seems very reasonable. Not against 1 either, just a hard thing to do.

I dunno man. Sometimes there’s not a good answer. But I still think it’s quite a bit more likely than not that Ukraine loses this war, and there’s no reason to fight to the last man, let alone to start encouraging civilians to get themselves killed trying to fight tanks and spark a bunch of reprisals.

Well one way to get a lot more international pressure on Russia would be if livestreams of Russian soldiers committing atrocities against civilians start coming out.

also puts russian deaths at 2800.
This might be their one chance to not live under the yoke of Russian oppression for the rest of their lives. I imagine the Holodomor is also still the lived experience of many people’s parents or grandparents.
