i’ll try, but i can’t type that fast. it was kinda “routine” communications between pilots. i didn’t pick up any problems for russians.

This is potentially really important. The Ukrainian forces in eastern Ukraine are in a pretty tenuous position with troops coming in from Crimea and also Sumy/Kharkiv, so if the northern border holds out for a while, that hopefully gives the eastern forces time to reploy to a more defensible position.

Yeah I was wondering what Ukraine will do defensively, assuming they can’t hold out across the country for an extended period of time.

Telegram NEXTA posted a 4 minute video with a captured russian soldier, a member of 74 brigade, which apparently entered from belarus.
They chose to shut down a bunch of their nuclear plants a while back and buy more natural gas from Russia instead. Unsure, how much other power generation they have, but Merkel is smart so I’m sure they do have backup plans.

i think holding out for a week would allow enough time for eu to get their act together and close at least some of ukrainian airspace for russian warplanes.
