You can really get an idea of the choose your own adventure style of propaganda in this video. Saving Ukrainians from their wayward government seems to generally resonate with the women. Wiping Ukraine off the map seems to resonate with the men.
You could watch the same tactic with the Capitol riots in real time. Moderate republican feeling squeamish about people on your side storming the Capitol? Here’s Laura Ingraham within hours to tell you it was antifa. Ahh, that feels better, no need to think about it further. Meanwhile your Trumpist brother is having an orgasm over his brethren storming the Capitol. And you both can still bitch about trans people and CRT together at the next family get-together.
