Ukraine needs to last months for sanctions to kick in and Putin burns through reserves propping his country up. However the west will continue funnelling cash buying gas and oil.
I am not sure ukraine can last that long unfortunately. Maybe lviv.
I hope the west learns from this and doesn’t remove sanctions for decades unless Russia denuclearizes. Turn them into Cuba and forget about it.

All this sanction talk is so confusing. Like you think ok we cut something off, and then you find out that no, there are 10 more steps before that. I get the feeling a lot of it is meaningless bluster.

zero, but the odds that US intelligence would keep the info under wraps is much much greater. I can see sitting on info like that because letting it out would seriously destabilize an already unstable man.
If you think he has nothing to lose now, imagine if the ROW knew that he literally had nothing to lose? Then we’d be even more hamstrung than we already are.
