My friends are saying it’s been public knowledge the US has been sending weapons the entire time during the invasion. Are they right and I just missed it until that tweet Riverman posted?
I mean, someone’s been giving the Ukranians Stingers and NLAWs.
They’ve been hating Russia for hundreds of years dating back to when Russia occupied their entire country, multiple times.
Russian ally Azerbaijan sending medicine to help Ukraine. I see Google News links to articles about them re-affirming their alliance with Russia two days ago. Putin seems to be losing support of his ally/puppet states.
Damn that’s a lot of Estonians.

So basically the US instantly crossed Putin’s red line? Was the red line thing aimed at countries other than the US?
Zelensky was asking to buy more Javelins right before Trump said “I’d like you to do us a favor though.”
if only VSU could turn them around and fire at the military targes still standing around voronezh. maybe that’s not possible with software/hardware locks, but geez.
From BBC live (don’t seem to be able to link directly):
Looks like even the other fascists know which side their bread’s buttered.
Yes I know that. I’m specifically talking about after Putin invaded and basically implied he was going to nuke anyone who provided assistance.
Putin’s “red line” talk is bullshit. Everyone knows the West has been supplying weapons to Ukraine. It’s not any different from when we shipped the Taliban Stingers when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. If there’s one thing the US is brilliant at, it’s shipping guns all over the world, with affordable lend-lease pricing options.
Speaking from the Kremlin on Thursday morning as he launched the Russian military’s invasion of Ukraine, Putin said Russia would respond instantly if any external force tried to interfere.
“Whoever tries to hinder us, and even more so, to create threats to our country, to our people, should know that Russia’s response will be immediate. And it will lead you to such consequences that you have never encountered in your history,” the Russian president said.
Sure it’s bullshit. But it’s still a potential human extinction-level event. So you have to give it some thought before brushing aside. For whatever reason it wasn’t clear to me we were going to keep shipping weapons into Ukraine the whole time.
It’s a pretty clear threat of using nukes. There are no other consequences Russia could possibly deal that meet that description.
Perhaps not a red line, but a line in the sand. It’s a line of sorts, and the threat is severe.
Probably got his inspiration from Trump’s “fire and fury” speech.
Use the three dots.
Our defense contractors have their own red lines.
they fucking look lost
Yeah, but that links to the live update page, it doesn’t seem to link to the specific section of the live update page, unless I’m missing something.
