Basically, he’s saying the Russians really needed to properly regroup after backing out of Kyiv and then make their big play to quickly surround the Ukrainians in the east but instead they’re being deliberate. That’s a mistake because they never had the men (he says 3:1 is needed) for this to succeed. Now the Ukrainians are able to give up space and in exchange inflict casualties that can’t be sustained.

dr mike is correct. i wouldn’t have used the word deliberate. they are slow because they are bad and donbass theater has been defended competently. the separatist girkin’s channel has also been largely correct, and he critiques that there was really no way to catch the donbass defenders by surprise or in encirclement.

also, russian propaganda has been trying to turn ukraine and poland on each other by saying poland will take western ukraine. well, pretty quickly the counter propaganda appeared on chinese tv, showing how neighboring countries are going to divide russia. looks like china gets some of siberia, US gets kamchatka.
