So I guess this is fly by wire, where you aim high and then continue to guide it to the target until it hits?
I think it’s laser-guided, but they keep the laser slightly off target to avoid pinging threat detectors in the target.

Right. You can see them moving the aimpoint down after the missile launches.
Someone on Twitter speculated that the FSB false flag item list said like 3x Sims as in sim cards and they messed it up. I have confirmed this by thinking about it.

The sim card thing is almost the only reasonable explanation. Sims 4 came out in 2014 already; why would anyone have copies of Sims 3 with them?

In 50 years when all the Ukrainian intelligence files are declassified we will learn that their agents always carried 3 copies of The Sims with them because if they get caught everyone will believe that it’s a badly bumbled Russian false flag operation.

People work so hard to construct a coherent reality where things make “sense”, when real reality is chaos and stupidity. It’s what the Cohn brothers do better at depicting than almost anyone else.
Autocracy must have a story, as it justifies the regime, and evidence is created to support the story. Democracies try to have a story, cause you need 50% of the vote, but it’s not essential to the broader enterprise.
