In Mexico there is a vibrant industry of wet-tapping gasoline pipelines and diverting them to the black market. There have been many horrific accidents as you would expect.
Granted, I agree this would be unworkable on a military scale. But there’s a big difference between safe and possible.

In Africa they tap oil pipelines and create makeshift refineries in the jungle. It goes about as well as you’d expect.

I mean it doesn’t make sense. You’d suspect that the communication between the higher ups and the underlings would be in Russian and they’d use the Russian acronym for a SIM card instead of a transliteration, but I mean it’s the only thing I’ve heard of that even makes any kind of sense.

But I can’t help but draw a parallel between this and when the most absurd, half-hearted justifications and pure nonsense we’re trotted out by Trump.
His believers gobbled it up, or said that it doesn’t matter if it’s strictly true. Or, probably more accurately, they considered it a point of pride to understand that something is false but believe it anyways.

i think they’ve retrofitted some bayraktar control modules. or perhaps were able to use existing software somehow. there are a lot of these types of videos
