The only other sinkings I can think of are an Iranian destroyer by the US, a British destroyer by the Argentines and an Argentine crusier by Britain. Pretty sure the Moskva is bigger.

I dont really think that’s a fair characterization of Pinker tho.
I dont want to be all “watch the yoootubez” on you, but you should really read the book. I also think it’s okay to urge more caution about having strong opinions on a peace of work when it’s an important and influential book than some idiot on the internet. So yeah, you should consider whether you know enough about the thesis to be so sure on it.
This can’t really rise above a B level without footage of the missile impact.

I thought anti personnel mines were banned? I think the US didn’t sign that agreement, but they still didn’t produce them or so I figured.
The rest of the developed world signed off on the treaty. The US, as per the usual, told everyone “fuck you.”
