Wait, did they also buy Twitter?
I think it’s a lot more if you include Musk in that category
Not entirely planned or voluntary, but still!
Ukraine hit a building complex in Donetsk housing Russian soldiers (HIMARS?). Russia speaks of 120 soldiers lost, Ukraine claims 500-600.
What practical effect does this have on the war effort?
Probably none. Ukraine hasn’t been getting weapons from Israel. Israel won’t start arming the same country as Iran. I think they also said they would continue humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
It’s weird that Israel wants to cozy up to a country that is supplying Iran with modern fighter jets.
From English reporting in The Times of Israel, I’m not sure that tweet is really accurate. He said the government would continue aid, but talk less about Ukraine.
Russia is neither a top destination for Israeli exports nor source of Israeli imports and they are a competitor as Israel exports Natural Gas, so closer alignment with Russia doesn’t really make sense, though relations with other countries in the ME like Egypt, Syria and Turkey all involve Russia so they maybe are somewhat careful with public statements.
It’s cold and they’re not well equipped. The explosives in the same building is hard to believe level of stupid.
It’s Russia so hard to believe level of stupid doesn’t really exist for me.
Hey, it lasted an hour longer than I expected.
