Ukraine Invasion 2: no more Black Sea fleet for you

Yeah life in a vassal state that needs to be punished to set an example for future resisters, with a language and culture that Russia has always wanted to wipe off the face of the earth.

If they ever try to trot out that sad fuck again I’m going to lose it.

Russia has been ripping children away from their mothers to be sent to Russian foster homes so that they’d be raised as Russians. And that’s on top of the rape and murder and torture and pillaging.

predictions are a crapshoot anyway. i don’t know when that article was written, but you could have written a similar article about afghanistan, and been hailed as correct, even if the argument wasn’t.

Pics in the thread show a number of other destroyed bridges. One person speculates the dam was damaged in such a way to keep power from being generated without downstream flooding.

Don’t want to spoil the mood and they probably did it in hopes of protecting something of their own but still thank the Russian military for not doing the worse thing with that dam.

there’s another good one where they changed “forever” with “til november”.

They constructed new defensive lines on the other side of the river. Iirc some of that area is vulnerable to flooding if the dam is destroyed so it probably wasn’t in their interest in the end.

Who would turn down a free ride to the Sanatoriums of Anapa? It just makes no sense.

I think it’s incredible how in the age of super advanced aircraft, modern tanks, smart missiles, and smart bombs that the most important weapon is a fancy cannon and cannonball.

artillery are the gods of war.

honestly I don’t even understand what the point of tanks are any more. What objectives are they helping achieve other than “getting the other side to use up all their javelins”?
