I have no idea what the situation is in Kherson or if Russia plans to hold Kherson or not. As I said, if they withdraw the bulk of their forces and then blow up the dam, sure, makes sense that Russia did that.
I’m curious how much water the dam is currently being let out of the reservoir. Are the Russians trying to lower the reservoir? Are they maintaining or raising the reservoir level? You’d do the latter if you’re planning on destroying the dam yourself and the former if you’re worried about Ukraine doing it.
Maybe try reading some things on the subject instead of insisting your opinions deserve the same merit as people who have.
I’ve read a lot about it and haven’t seen any indications that Russia is evacuating their military from Kherson. Maybe I missed something. What have you read that says otherwise?
A Hahahahaha
Compelling as always
Side topic.
Iskender kebabs are one of the foods with the largest difference in taste between buying them in Turkey and buying them anywhere else.
In Turkey. Tonnes of fresh bread. Amazing yogurt. Fresh grilled meat.
Elsewhere. Greasy doner meat with too much sauce and soggy bread.
30 year old tech can change a war against Russia. Still hard to wrap my head around that

The enemy going around the fortifications is the fortifications working as intended. One of the objectives of fortifications is to funnel attacks into predictable channels. People often say the Maginot line was a failure but of course the French knew that the Germans could and would go around them. That was the point. They garrisoned the line with second rate troops and had their best units meet the Germans in the low countries. They just lost that battle, but that wasn’t the fortifications fault.
Thread on Russian considerations to gtfo Kherson. Requires careful planning, deception, discipline and coordination along with precise timing. They’ve shown great expertise in these areas so it should go well.
Yes, that’s in Russia.
