I wonder if they will figure out they should plead guilty now to save the legal fees.
Can they delay until after next election to act on the indictment? I think Governor will be up for re-election in 2022. Not sure if statute of limitations or something else would prevent that strategy.
I think he’s a lawyer so he should know this, if not surely his lawyer does.
The question isn’t whether they know that’s an option, it’s whether their ego will allow them to admit guilt.
