I saw this on a trip to the store, where there’s a “Recall Gavin Newsom” table set up outside the door. I did laugh at them and respond with Black Lives Matter when they approached me.

If I were you and it was not the middle of a pandemic, I’d show up and let them know that as a veteran I am deeply offended by their violations of the US Flag Code, which I would then count and list for them.
I probably wouldn’t call the cops on them for any number of reasons, I’d be more inclined to try to alert some local organizers to go counter demonstrate or something and try to make sure she doesn’t make any money.
If someone managed to literally just cut the blue line out of the middle of the flag that would be AMAZING. “Sorry, your flag has been defunded for violating the US Flag Code.”
Serious question: have you (or has anyone) ever seen a Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, LBJ, JFK, etc etc flag?
Like I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything other than campaign t-shirts/hats/buttons, and it’s almost always more centered on the campaign slogan(s) than the candidate. To that end, even in those situations like 90% of the time it’s worn is by someone actively volunteering or whatever, and the other 10% is former volunteers wearing it because they have it. Like, I have never in my life seen this phenomena and it terrifies me. I’d love it if someone could find like a Bush 41 or Carter flag or something, I’d feel like we were at least in charted waters.
