Apparently some cops are getting medical leave because they have âmedicalâ conditions that wonât allow them to shave their beards, which then prevents them from wearing masks (or at least wearing masks in a way that the masks will be inappropriate).
Seems like a complete bs reason, but Iâm sure people will come up with more âmedicalâ reasons they canât wear a mask.
edit: it appears this is a legit condition, so I guess there are some people that have legit medical reasons they canât wear a mask - still expect the libertarians to come up with lots more made up reasons they canât wear a mask.

Itâs fair that taxpayers have to pay. It should be a separate check they each have to cut to pay for this shit. Obviously he should lose his job/benefits/pension.
But, whoâs fault is it that cops can behave like that? The police chiefâs? Whoâs fault is it that the police chief still lets it happen? Trace it back⌠Eventually you get to people the taxpayers elect.
Elect someone who prioritizes fixing it, and the problem and associated costs go away. If not, the taxpayers have to pay for it. Itâs the very least they are morally responsible for here. A part of this falls on all of us for continuing to allow it to happen all over this country.

Not sure this was posted anywhere since it seemed to be barely a blip but basically people stormed the Michigan state capitol to protest the stay at home orders (which the governor later extended). Youâll be shocked to learn that the heavily armed white men in this situation are called âprotestorsâ and not âterroristsâ.
