Trump tax returns leaked. For realz.

soooo much this

205,000 Americans are dead. We are going to surpass all the Americans killed in 4 years of WW2 in about 10 months of COVID. It’s almost likely at this point that COVID exceeds Civil War numbers to make this the largest lost of American lives in history. Literally nobody gives a fuck about his tax returns. If people are still with him at this point, they’re not changing their minds because he’s a tax cheat. The only shocking thing here is that he’s fought so hard to keep these a secret.

“massive payments by russian oligarchs” would actually do something, even if it is just symbolic.

I said non zero amount lol, they might not be people that “with him” as well. In any case as riverman said it’s good.

See Riverman above, echoing my earlier argument: it’s not just about these bombs changing votes. It’s about denying Trump the opportunity to change the conversation.

Of course not. It exists to trigger him and fuck with him right before the debates.

His lack of money is his ultimate achillies heel. Joe should end every answer to a debate question by asking Trump if he needs to borrow some money.

I think too it’s not just about changing votes. It’s about making people feel bad about voting for him and feel good about voting against him.

not quite, He’s very good at getting TV attention and knowing who he can fuck over and get away with it.

Of course in america, this with no other skills means you’re rich.

I paid more in income tax monthly to kentucky before I moved lol.

That’s fair. This story is better than the Supreme Court story dominating the news.

One question so far about tax returns. Lol the press. (I’m 15 min behind so hopefully I’m wrong).

The actual story is that despite being a moron, despite the inheritance bringing no success, nonetheless as he loses money with no real income our society is structured so that he functionally has benefits and the ability to acquire resources far greater than most people could dream of. I can see why some wouldn’t care that this supposedly reveals he’s a failure, manifestly he is not. The joke’s on the rest of us.

Not gonna lie, I have loved Drudge’s conversion to a member of the #resistance since this past January.

Re: not paying taxes. Is he going to use the “that makes me smart” defense?

He was basically done as a businessman before The Apprentice.

That show delivered hundreds of millions of dollars, which he used to drastically overpay for absolutely horrible businesses, mostly golf courses / resorts but also the lease for the DC hotel. All of these businesses are losing enormous amounts of money.

The only real estate he has that actually makes money is non-controlling interests (i.e. he can’t screw it up) in several NYC/SF office buildings. But his earnings from these properties (and grifting in corrupt foreign countries) are dwarfed by the losses from the properties described in the previous paragraph.

And he spends a ton of money, obviously.

Also, one new piece of information we got is that he personally guaranteed hundreds of millions of dollars in loans, including $300 million that is coming due within 3-4 years. He probably doesn’t have that much and is in real danger of being wiped out.
