well, I believe he won’t get 53 yes votes, meaningless but I’d bet that right now wouldn’t on the others.
Another difference between the right and the left. If the roles were reversed, the right would have prepared a list of things Biden could do on his way out per recent Supreme Court decisions that would completely fuck with the incoming administration. I bet Biden and his advisors haven’t seriously considered anything dramatic.
Oh, yeah, that’s what I was implying. I don’t think you could find two R’s that will actually vote against him.

I mean it’ll be the usual thing. There will probably be a couple of R senators that say “uh my constituency really fucking hates this guy and it would be better for me if I said no”, they’ll make sure they have the votes anyway and allow them to throw in their token no vote.

Nah, I don’t think that will be the case this time. I think they will rightly view it as some kind of loyalty test and be scared to be on the no side.
