I’m wondering if Trump nominated him to keep his promise, but made a behind the scenes deal to keep him from being confirmed.
Dunno why Trump wouldn’t have RFK in Dept of Health.
As far as nominees he’s trolling, I submit Marco Rubio for SoS. He’s there to get replaced at the last minute or fired for maximum humiliation.

My hot take is that if RFK pushes exercise and good eating that could be a net public benefit even given his mostly batshit crazy ideas about everything else, which he will be unable to implement.
I am skeptical of his concerns with food additives, but people eating better and exercising more, especially older people, is by far the lowest hanging fruit in public health. That said, beyond being a figurehead, I have no idea what an HHS administrator can do in terms of policy. Maybe more keto options in public settings? Tests for chakra alignment? Testosterone replacement without prescriptions?
Assuming he is just a figurehead, he’s clearly a fit and healthy guy, so maybe he’ll be a decent spokesman for being fit and healthy. Deputy commissioners Joe Rogan and Hulk Hogan can help with the policy details.
It’s funny that the best route to the Trump administration is apparently running for the democratic nomination. I sure the Republican Senate will love all these former Dems

Yeah I mean I instantly felt icky on that post and decided to delete it. The fact he is holding a top health office is still completely laughable and scary.
The prospect of him in charge of a pandemic response is truly terrifying.
I think we need to again take a long hard look at the Satan theory of disease, where Satan causes diseases and God cures them. Maybe HHS can fund some clinical trials. Perhaps Kennedy can form an Essential Oils division of HHS.
