There will be essentially no problem moving from Donald the Dove or isolationist to Donald the conqueror or liberator.

so we are going to be running Venezuela for the time being and he actually gave Machado the brushoff saying she isn’t capable of running the country. probably thinks that if he gives it to her now she will be the star of the show since she got his peace prize.

venezuela is one target the int’l community doesnt give a fuck about, even their economic allies. so we get to look big and strong without really doing anything and make the rest of the world, especially south america, distrust us, for practically no gain. good job hegseth.

the only positive i can take from this is its hawkish towards russia. the admin pro russia hawks seem very quiet right now.

The US Reaction to this is like 2003 in Iraq. Just instead of George W Bush as President we had the Rich Texan from the Simpsons as President

Jfc, listening to 2 maga asshats gleefully talking about this.

‘When’s the last time we took a president out of power?’

‘I think the cuban missile crisis.’

Saddam? Gadafi? Noriega?

Can you really call a security apparatus that allowed their president to be kidnapped functioning?

I found this interesting. I tried to guess each country response prior to reading. I didn’t quite run the table, but I wasn’t far off.
