Cuban gave some really bad advice. Telling them that if not for RH they would have won and that they should hold, find a broker with more capital, and try again.
This was always going to fail, RH may have sped that up, but it was inevitable. Cuban doesn’t care about WSB, he just hates most of the hedge fund guys and wants to see them suffer, even if many WSB people also suffer as well in the end.

They’ve covered a lot, but it’s still one of the most shorted stocks.
WSBs doing this again does create chaos for the market, which I think could be bad for hedge funds. Their models assume rationale behavior, so they may not be prepared for something like this to happen. Ultimately, I assume many will adapt and start to take advantage of this, but there could be more short term pains for them. Sort of like when a crazy player sits down at the poker table, and some of the solid players struggle to adapt.
