When this is over every surface within half a mile is going to be coated in normie gore. This is why I wasn’t all aboard on the ‘this is awesome’ train last week. Short squeezing people who are fundamentally right is a massively -EV play historically and has usually not worked out well… and that was for people with some sophistication. This was always going to end in tragedy. A little bit of comedy, but mostly tragedy.
Would be funny if the hedge funds shorted GME at like $350.
CCIV is still going strong
Pretty happy with my contribution to the portfolio:
Something something lemmings something
Or make up bad news
I’m still not clear on why I should be mad about anything other than Robinhood restricting purchases. I keep seeing politicians jump in with “we must investigate!!!” But, like, what possible policy proposal should come out of that? People absolutely should be free to buy and sell at whatever price they see fit, that’s the whole fucking point.
LOL, looks like I bought NAKD right at the peak! Thankfully just a bit of play money.
You should be mad about TD Ameritrade consistently catering to my irrational desire to short very popular stocks like CMG and AAPL.
I had actually never heard of GameSpot until this thing blew up. Not sure if we don’t have any around me or I’m just oblivious.
According to Strassa no matter what happens WSB has still taken hedge funds to the cleaners on GME in aggregate. But yeah the late to the party people are gonna get crushed.
Not the case though with NOK or AMC - where WSB is getting crushed in aggregate by big funds who were long and got to unload or convert loans.
KOSS he compared to Dogecoin - net zero pyramid scheme basically.
*Gamestop.GameSpot is a video game review website
man the amount of copium on reddit /r/popular is staggering lmao, so glad my wife’s boyfriend doesn’t let me buy stocks
Never heard of either!
$76. Wow.
There seems to be some kind of blind algorithm out there that buys Cinemark when AMC is mooning, and sells it when AMC is tanking. Weird. Then tomorrow CNK will adjust back up.
Hopefully their investigation concludes that members of Congress shouldn’t be allowed to own positions in corporations that their policies impact, because that is a travesty several orders of magnitude worse than what’s going on with GME.
