I watched the pilot of common side effects and it was fine I guess but bailed because I don’t really like irredeemable incel-style characters does that change or is it just incel jokes all the way through?
Just started White Lotus S3 and fucking this! Only a few episodes in but had to check that the accents were covered.
I think Jason Isaac’s accent is pretty good (I am not from NC but I have spent a LOT of time in the triangle), Parker Posey is too over the top.
I think she’s playing her character from Dazed and Confused.

Was definitely a good decision to wait until the week of the last episode and watch Reacher in a few days instead of waiting a week each time.

This season of survivor is so elite. This ep had a top three all time moment. Just outstanding television. Peak reality programming

At this point I kind of feel like she is playing Parker Posey. She’s got crazy oldish lady down pretty solid.

Working my way through Reacher. Very good show. It does an excellent job of what it’s trying to do. It doesn’t have the highest ceiling, but they’re pretty much hitting whatever it is. It’s surprising how even executing something like this can easily be fucked up.
Anyway, I’m finished with S1 and S2. How long until S3 is done. I might wait until it’s all out (or < 1 wk) and then start the binge.

I’m not a Survivor watcher but my gf is a big fan, so when you made that post a couple weeks ago I mentioned to her this season seems to be a good one. After tonight I really need to get her watching I guess.
(She tends to watch some seasons week-to-week and some seasons she binges a bit to catch up, so she still hasn’t started this season)

Warning. It’s a top three moment in the vein of modern survivor if you know what that means. It’s not top five in terms of strategy but human relationships.
If she likes survivor she will love this season. Best season in years and climbing the ranks every episode.
hmmm the girl constantly going on about autism is a bit trying. yeah yeah hate on me but whatever I find her really fucking tedious and hope she she gets fucked off early.
Well her way of ranking Survivor is definitely strategy > other stuff, so we’ll see how she reacts I guess. I’ll be curious to see what she thinks.
