They threatened to recast all the lead voice actors last time they revived the show. Hopefully it’s just a negotiating tactic by hulu
Im less concerned about it being a bluff and more concerned about it causing strife internally. Like most ensemble cast shows, the leads should have been one voice on this.

As a massive LotR fan. I should be hyped for this new Rings show but I just can’t care at all. Is anyone excited for a Tolkien fan-fiction prequel?

I’ve been rewatching the Peter Jackson LotR movies, never fully appreciated how much heavy lifting the soundtrack does. The whole trilogy fires on all cylinders, whant an amazing set of movies.

The first half of Love is Blind season 2 is out.
This show shouldnt work, it really shouldnt. But it totally does.
Episode 3 is this long series of gut punches and ive never felt so bad for a reality tv contestant before.

I’ve watched the first episode. This is a Shonda Rhimes show so if you’ve ever watched one of those (Grey’s anatomy, scandal,…) you will recognize the style (bad dialogue, bad over the top acting, annoying characters, skyline shots every 2 mins to remind you of the location,…).
Having watched a much more than is reasonable amount of these shows over the years, my opinion is that the only way to enjoy them is in a “so bad it’s good” kind of way (“scandal” especially was pretty elite in that way). Sadly i think that the fact that this one is inspired by a true story kills all potential this could have in that regard, since it will have constrained the writers too much for the ridiculousness to strive. So it would just be moderately bad but not in a fun way.
That said i don’t really know the facts this was based on so I might be wrong. If someone watches the whole thing I’d also be happy to know what they thought of it.

Meh, I think the Superheroes But They’re Actually Bad genre is so played out I can’t bring myself to bother.
I dislike basically all superhero stuff but I gave this a shot on recommendation and I loved it. The intro theme gets me every time
