There’s all kinds of little Easter eggs throughout the show. And never skip the Melfi scenes. They’re crucial to Tony’s character development and is a sign of being bad at tv

Man that succession was a tough watch. We’re going to rightfully get a way less fun but objectively great season.

Seven episodes in to my soprano rewatch I can’t even stop to watch Sucession.
One thing you forget is the depth of characters in sopranos. Not personality wise but just sheer number of unique characters who come in and out of the show. You may not see someone for three or four episodes and then they are part of the central plot.
Is anyone but Tony, really a lead character? I can make strong arguments for Melfi, and even Carmela but they are just not the same consistent presence.

Had maybe my favourite and funniest line in a long time with the cigarettes. I laughed hard at that one.
