Watched the first episode of You and this day keeps getting more and more uncomfortable.
Great soundtrack too
Yes to both, though Iāve never seen Our Planet. But based on the episode titles Iām seeing, they are different.
New Curb tonight! Hyped
They had a āfan favoritesā marathon on all day yesterday that was great. Incredible that this is their 10th? season in about 20 years.
I think itās been like nine years since the comeback season? Something like that.
Iām afraid itās not going to be the same without Bob Einstein though.
I just hate it when creepiness turns creepy
Iām glad you liked it. I found aspects of it to be really uncomfortable and disturbing and creepy, too. I can see how easily this stuff happened. The joy for me was in seeing how the two filmmakers from New Zealand respond throughout. Kiwis shall be my spirit animals.
RIP Funkman
Dang that Tickled movie was fucked up. Good rec!
The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot is a pretty solid movie on hulu. i watched it to laugh at it but i genuinely thought it was a well-made film. above average overall, while not top tier, iāll give it 4 bags
Our household loved The Young Pope, very excited by this one. Season 1 was like about 5 uncategoriseable shows all in one, but also, as you say, complete and close to perfect.
Will have to wait till weāve finished currently available Succession, which I initially resisted as itās a show about horrible people, but itās spectacular. I assume everyone knows this, though, as Iām usually very late on this stuff.
yeah a very unique and unexpected soundtrack. paulo sorrentino is like the italian martin scorsese.
new season of curb your enthusiasm premiered tonight on hbo
more of that good shit. wobbly tables. the maga hat. jeff garlin looks exactly like harvey weinstein lol 5 bags
Any way to access the episodes on streaming platforms? Got Netflix and ad-supported Hulu.
just hbo. i think you can get the app for $15/month. worth it imo. i use it all the time. lots of great content
Rewatched Dark City again once I saw it was on Vuduās free streaming catalog. That movie is so fucking good. The story and art design would go on to inspire other movies and TV shows including The Matrix, The Thirteenth Floor, one of the most popular episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and no less than Christopher Nolan, who noted Dark City as a primary influence when making Inception.
Itās that rare genre mashup that works so well, in this case combining Noir with Sci-fi.
Speaking of streaming services, each of these platforms includes a catalog of free stuff worth checking out.
Vudu
CW
Roku Channel
Crackle
Tubi
PlutoTV
IMDB
Filmrise
Fawesome
YouTube
WatchFreeFlix
Worth browsing all of them. You might be surprised at what you find.
Watched this with my daughter and sheās ready to go body surfing. She made me pause the video so she could snap a couple of pics that cracked her up:
Oh also I hear Future Man is insanely good, but havenāt seen it myself
1st season only
