Roe v. Wade is based on right to privacy. This opens the door to criminalizing homosexuality, contraceptives, trans people, sodomy, among other things. No telling how bad things could get. It’s truly terrifying

State legislatures are full of actual crazy people.
Bostock v Clayton County is a trans victory, although it’s a statutory case instead of a constitutional one.
Fortunately, it was decided by Gorsuch, Roberts, and four liberals (before RBG passed), so it seems secure for the time being.

I blame establishment Dems over the past few decades for acting like the United States had reached the end of history in the form of a technocratic, bureaucratic federal government that only needs some fixes around the edges and failing to recognize the existential threat posed by modern American conservatism.

US media is basically all very rich people who went to like 7 high schools and 5 colleges. Not really a profession that works for anyone else, you make absolutely no money until your mid 30s, at best.

I have no idea, I’m not one of them so I don’t know how they’d do it or enforce it.
I do know that I was roundly laughed at by numerous friends for saying Trump could actually win, for predicting COVID in February 2020, and for predicting that Roe would go down, among other things. So I’m pretty used to mocking and skepticism in regard to my predictions.
I think it’s about 15% they go after and ban interracial marriage. It’s only been protected by SCOTUS for like 55 years, about five or six years longer than Roe.
It only takes one crazy/racist state legislature and governor and five crazy/racist justices.
How are they gonna ban medically necessary abortions that are wildly popular? idk, but they’re fucking doing it.

Yup anyone who things any crazy right wing fever dream is impossible needs to go watch some videos of right wing state legislators. Then ask yourself which five justices will stop them.
Some of this stuff is more likely than other issues, but it’s all in play.

Don’t worry, I distinctly remember the notorious ACB calling Brown v Board a “super precedent” (whatever the fuck that means) in her hearings. Surely she wouldn’t lie.
