The Supreme Court: RIP Literally Everything

It’s the Onion’s political cartoon, which is basically just making fun of political cartoons.

the snl skit was pretty good

Chapo’s episode of making fun of right-wing political cartoons is what got me into the show.

Take a moment and guess what this is the beginning of an argument for

If you guessed “throwing out lawsuits against the police,” congrats, you win

Garrison isn’t even the worst one of the bunch. It’s incredible.

I keep hoping to see this thread and the terrible people dying thread bumped at the same time.

I know that they were posturing for their base, but I am very slightly surprised the Republicans are not just voting for Jackson’s confirmation. The court is still 6-3 no matter what and they could claim some type of legitimacy with the idiotic media. I truly honesty believe (read: hope) that the court has lost a lot of legitimacy with the public which will help when they keep clawing back all of the progress we have made.

They can’t do that because they have to keep the insane Trump base enraged to gain and retain power. Can’t risk losing the racists by letting a black woman through.

They have to reinforce their image of the “Party that doesn’t like black people” without exactly saying that.

They can go back to saying it when Trump is President again.

But Durbin on Monday afternoon temporarily delayed the committee’s vote, explaining that the flight carrying Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., to Washington was rerouted back to Los Angeles due to a medical emergency. A spokesperson for Padilla said the senator is expected to make it to Capitol Hill later in the afternoon.

Imagine being Tim Scott and voting no. What a piece of shit.

Well if he actually had principles, he wouldn’t be in a position to be voting on this.

So, Tim Scott can only vote no. A Tim Scott who votes yes and is a GOP senator from South Carolina can’t possibly exist.

Speaking of Senators from SC, Lindsey said this is the first time he is voting no on a nominee.

He was soooooooo triggered over Kavanaugh.
