It’s almost like Bernie creates some weird illusion that the party in general is in favor of or trending toward M4A. I’d rather see the progressive candidates run 3rd party than give these assholes cover to trick people who aren’t paying too much attention. Like, if you polled all of these Biden people, I wonder how many would say Biden is either straight up for M4A or is working to get us there in steps. I think it would be high enough that I’d consider jumping out of a window.
It would easily be a majority of the Biden voters who also said they are in favor of M4A, if not near 100% of them. People are incredibly stupid and uninformed.

Sure but it’s possible to say you’re for M4A while also supporting Biden and knowing it has no chance of happening under him because he (his puppet masters) is completely against it. I want to know what % think he is in favor of it or will try to get us there in steps.
That time was almost 2 years ago. I was there. It wasn’t very crowded.

Sure it’s possible. I’m guessing that the majority of people in that category DO think he is in favor of M4A though. I actually don’t want to know the real percentage though because it would send my lawn kower all the way into orbit, or whatever the kids say.

I took a step back from following pol closely after the second part of our never ending war in Iraq and I might have to again.
They support M4A but beating Trump is top priority. My healthcare can wait.

Fucked if I know. Hunker down and hope for some external event that swings things in a good direction? That’s all I’ll I’ve got. We don’t have the numbers to win outright and we don’t have the passion to win asymmetrically. Those are the cold, hard facts as I see them.

A sense that when you’re picking someone to run the government, a guy who has held significant positions of power in both the legislative and executive branches and actually seems to be well liked by the people he has worked with just might be a better bet to get stuff done than the dude who seems to be right on a lot of issues, but never manages to figure out how to get buy in for them.
The best version of Bernie is the office heretic who comes up with the moonshot ideas and pushes everyone else to be bolder. The best version of Biden is the office manager who has to scold people to make sure they turn in their TPS reports and stop stealing the office supplies, but also bats cleanup on the softball team and sometimes brings in the fancy bagels and coffee just to boost morale.

I’d love to be less cynical but people are just too fucking stupid. Olds turn out and vote for the guy who can’t wait to cut a deal to take away social security and Medicare, and youngs can’t be bothered to show up. I’m trying to vote against my economic self interest to help people who can’t even act rationally. Too damn infuriating to keep passionately engaging.
And just lol at black people loving Biden over Bernie, get a fucking clue.
