No excuse for Teru not to win this one, unless his knees finally blow out.
Good lord, that dude is a colossus. Goddamn 6"6ā Big Chungus motherfucker. My man John Gunning in there with the old-school hip-hop apparel as always.

The Mongolians are just going to dominate sumo forever.
Takakeishoās days as an Ozeki appear to be numbered.
Iāve only seen day one so far and my boy 'keisho does not look stronk.
I think Wakatakakage and Kiribayama look interesting this tournament?
Kiribayama is my dark horse future Ozeki.
Pretty ballsy, isnāt he like 100kg?
About 140 and growing.
This basho is unfolding as expected: complete and boring domination by Terunofuji.
Kiribayama pushing out Ichinojo on Day 4 was impressive.
What is Akebono doing these days?
Hereās something Iāve wondered about. Iāve never noticed two rikishi with the same name. Does that really never happen, or is there some list out there and everyone makes sure to pick a unique name?
Seems like it would be very cheeky to pick a name already in use.
But I donāt even remember people who have names of retired rikishi (thatās what I really meant to ask about). I donāt follow that closely, though. So, maybe I just didnāt notice.
Kiribayama gave him a real battle, though. Iām officially on the Kirby hype train now.
As well you should be.
We have ourselves a basho!
Heās blasted through the lower ranks and was set to make his Juryo debut before Miyagino-beya went out with COVID.
Many highly touted rikishi hit a wall once they get to Juryo, where the talent level is significantly higher. Looking forward to seeing how he fares.
Hakuho is calling it quits.
