The Shredders Ball

Oh cringe, “This Planet’s on Fire” is a Haggar cover from 1979, so it’s AC/DC who stole that intro riff for Thunderstruck in 1990.

I learned to play the melody at 0:45 from Kerry King himself in an old Guitarworld I think. I still play it on my acoustic guitar fingerstyle.

I watched this even though I usually avoid watching any Rick Beato videos. Fun interview.

First chord of Kashmir is this D5 voicing in DADGAD

D -
A -
G 2
D 0
A 5
D -

which I know from having to a learn a bunch of songs for my Zeppelin-obsessed nephew. First chord played during that intro vamp in that 2nd video sounds like the same chord?

What is that black and white Vernon guitar? Is it one of the super rare USA Hamers?

It sure sounds good. The 2nd track of the 3 on the Daytona video was written by the drummer, and is a trip. lol Vern has a different guitar for that 1

but the obviously correct answer is both initial guitars have the yin yang on the body

Good god @ that right hand technique. I’m thinking about buying one of these just to try it. That rip at 2:45 is head asplode material.
