Even if it’s not superconductivity, people are starting to accept there’s something interesting going on here. The background is an inspiring and complicated story. It will be a fantastic story if the claim is adequately replicated.

Yeah, that guy’s name is mud right now. The most recent claim is from a Korean team. They can expect the same treatment if they aren’t forthcoming. Like it would help to get quick confirmation if they supplied samples of their material to independent labs. Commercial concerns could get in the way though.

I don’t really have any idea. If you take it seriously it’s even a little scary. It will move markets and cause a lot of disruption if it is real. I’m still telling myself the excitement will be over in a week. But maybe not, and I’m already having trouble sleeping. What a sucker.
