The Presidency of the Joes, part II: lol documents

The bipartisan thing is dead. The GOP is trying to run more clock and Schumer is shutting it down. We just have to wait and see what’s in the reconciliation bill.

Hey man, they’re just negotiating in good faith. Give them another 17 months and I’m sure they’ll get it all hashed out. You can’t rush these things.

They should probably take a special recess to think on it and meet with their constituents about it IMO.

Makes you wonder if the Trump admin actually committed any crimes or the Dems and media just lied about it.

Listening to the majority report he signed an executive order recently which gives departments a ton of power go go after monopoly and do anti trust. I mean lol joe Biden but really informed progressives were excited about it. Only problem is he doesn’t have an assistant attorney general to enforce it yet and apparently nominations take months lol

But he does have someone pretty progressive and aggressive in another one of the positions he empowered. Think it was the FDC or something

We need to grow this economy from the bottom up and the middle out.

This was such a fun show. I think I might have to rewatch it.

You motherfuckers posting clips of shows on UP has now caused me to rewatch the Sopranos in it’s entirety. Somebody posted a Bunk clip a while back and now I’m rewatching The Wire and I"m halfway through. Guess I’ll put Silicon Valley next up on my list to rewatch.

Haven’t listened to Majority Report, but they were probably talking about Lina Khan, the Chair of the Federal Trade Commission. When she was in law school at Yale she published a big article that was entirely about rethinking antitrust law in ways that could more effectively reign in Amazon. She’s made so many public statements advocating possible antitrust actions against them that they recently filed a motion saying that she should have to recuse herself from any investigations related to them.

According to this account they’re filing cloture on the assistant AG today so we should be ~48 hours away from having them confirmed.

Is that dude progressive?

Based on some brief googling it sounds like he had near unanimous support in his hearing so I’m gonna go ahead and guess no.
